Structural Failure
We have supported clients in cases involving personal injuries resulting from the structural failure of safety components, such as handrails, guardrails, wrought iron gates, and hotel room barn doors. Our expertise extends to cases involving accidental amputations caused by allegedly defective window blinds, injuries from overturned dining table booths, garage apartment floor collapses, vehicle bumper wall failures, and fallen TV mounting brackets.
With our deep understanding of both building codes and kinetic physics, we are equipped to scientifically determine the root causes of these failures that led to injuries and assess their relevance in relation to compliance issues with governing building codes and standards.

Trip and Fall
We have provided support to clients in cases involving personal injuries resulting from trip and falls, often attributed to unexpected changes in floor elevations, unpainted curbs and curb ramps, large radius stair nosing, excessive cross-slope in ADA sidewalks, and clearance encroachment caused by tree growth over public rights-of-way, among other factors.
Leveraging our in-depth understanding of ADA/TAS (Americans with Disabilities Act/ Texas Accessibility Standards) and ICC (International Code Council) regulations, we can assess the relevance of such incidents to compliance issues with building code requirements. Additionally, we identify any additional contributing factors to these incidents. When necessary, we collaborate with other parties to investigate human factors that may have contributed to the injuries, including considerations such as mobility, weather, line of sight, and distractions.

Swimming Pool
We have provided assistance to clients in cases involving drownings, including children and adult swimmers, in Class A to C public swimming pools. Our extensive knowledge of all versions of the newly provided ISPSC series enables us to conduct quantitative assessments of pool facilities for compliance with local jurisdiction codes and ordinances, building codes, ISPSC, and APSP guidelines**.
