H2Y Consulting is a professional engineering firm specializing in forensic engineering services, including engineering evaluations and expert witness services. The company was founded in November 2023 by Mr. Brian Huang, P.E., a licensed structural engineer in Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky. Brian brings over two decades of engineering experience in structural design, evaluation, and forensic investigations to the firm. His expertise encompasses cause and origin evaluations of property damage, construction defects, remediation design, premises liability, and the standard of care.

Our clients include insurance companies, property owners, developers, and attorneys at law. Brian has been designated as an expert witness in over thirty litigation cases, providing testimonies under oath in depostions and courtrooms, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

About Brian —

Before becoming a forensic expert, Brian practiced structural engineering, where he designed high-rise concrete and steel buildings with project values ranging from $15 million to $300 million. Notably, he played a key role in the ExxonMobil Campus project in The Woodlands, Texas, a $3 billion endeavor from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, he transitioned his career focus to forensic engineering, serving as the division manager for a prominent forensic engineering company. Prior to founding H2Y Consulting, he held the position of regional engineering lead at an established international consulting firm. In this role, he managed a team of engineers and oversaw the regional engineering practice.

Brian founded H2Y Consulting in November 2023, driven by a singular vision: to revolutionize the industry by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technologies, industry best practices and standards, and the wealth of knowledge and experience amassed by our team over decades.
